In 2016 I travelled to Goa, South West India to explore this beautiful corner of the world. Travelling solo for 3 weeks I journeyed across the district from the beaches of Mandrem and Ashvem to the beautiful capital city Panjim through to the forests of Mollem and ending up on the idillic sands of Palolem and Patnem

‘Fish curry rice’ was the classic lunch for me whenever I was next to the sea, and a snack of ‘momos’, South Asian stuffed dumplings, in the early evening washed down with a cold Kingfisher. I tried a fiery pork vindaloo in a café in Panjim and of course the fantastic dosas across the region
